BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN Tower Theater Phila. Pa. Sunday, December 28, 1975 sbd>reels>cass>Maudio 24/96>sound forge7.0>wav>flac This is show 3 of 3 from the Ed Sciaky archives. I remember the dubbing process well. I had to stop the reel to reel to clean the tape heads because the tape was literally sticking to the heads. There are amazing sonic bright spots on these discs BUT there is also moments where it goes from muddy to an harmonic high-end distortion. Someone who owned a boot called Sha La La sez this is many times better. Minimal tape hiss over most of the show, but uneven in spots due to tape rot. The reel changes occurred in similar spots as the last show. Disc 1 01 10th avenue freeze-out (slow) 02 Spirit in the night 03 Does this bus stop at 82nd street? 04 It's my life 05 She's the one 06 Born to run 07 Pretty Flamingo (beginning clipped) 08 It's hard to be a saint in the city 09 Backstreets 10 Sha La La 11 Jungleland Disc 2 01 Rosalita (Come out tonight) 02 4th of July, Asbury Park (Sandy) 03 Detroit Medley 04 Thunder Road (piano version) 05 For You ( piano version) 06 Twist & Shout Once again there were 2 different brands of reel to reel tape used. 7" reels @7.5ips Reel one had roughly the 1st 40 minutes...tape change to reel 2 occured @ d106 and continued for approx 40 mins. Tape change( flip side of reel 1) occured @ d201. again @d205. ENJOY! SHARE! and remember ED!
