In working with a group of collectors is seems that many versions of these shows that currently circulate are a) lossy and b) attributed to the incorrect date.

Brucebase indicates, at the March 14th performance, "Heartbreak Hotel" was played prior to "Fire" but this is incorrect and has been corrected. Some circulating versions of March 14th are actually the May 27th performance with the songs reversed which is most likely where the Brucebase information originated.

There was also no mention of Garry Tallent participating at the May 27th performance, unlike the show on the 14th where we have visual evidence but no aural confirmation with no introduction, at the 27th performance we have aural confirmation with an introduction. So we have confirmation Bruce and Garry performed at both shows.

There are probably correctly dated versions circulating, this is being released to ensure everyone has the opportunity to have the correct performance with the correct dates. The source for this torrent comes from my tape copy traded for in the early to mid 1980's.
