That night was well covered by two legendary area tapers, Steve Hopkins and Dan Lampinski. Night two of the tour, delayed from July 12 was not as well covered, fortunately we do have one source available. Frustratingly, that source was missing the opening "Incident On 57th Street" starting after the first few notes of "Spirit In The Night". In addition, "Born To Run" was missing the start and "Quarter To Three" was cut. I am pleased to present in partnership with my trading compadre of over 30 years 'MR' a near complete version of this fine and historic show. This is the same recording source as the circulating version but we finally get to hear for the first time the complete "Incident On 57th Street" and the start of "Born To Run". The show is still missing the opening notes of "Spirit In The Night" now seamlessly smoothed and "Quarter To Three" cuts off after about a minute. Though still containing some hiss I would also consider this a material upgrade to he circulating version, not to be considered a top quality show, what is here is clearer and more natural sounding than the circulating version which reading the notes had one channel lower than the other so they were mixed together. This version did not have that issue but still suffers from the limitations of the tapers gear and being an unknown generation. Thanks to MR for sending me the files for this and so many other shows... Samples and artwork provided (front cover photo was taken at the show). mjk5510
