Falling between the start of the tour and the legendary Bottom Line stand, it takes place just over two weeks before the LP release on the 25th. As brucebase states, it is a unique and historically important show illustrating the changing nature of the setlist during this important time in Bruce's career. Clocking in at 19 songs, it"s a perfect example of Bruce merging the old and the new. It features both the first known 'Backstreets' which would not become a tour staple until late September and one of the last 'New York City Serenades' of the tour. If that wasn't enough, it also features the last known performance of the rarely played instrumental 'Funk Song' and the tour premier of 'Then She Kissed Me'. This share comes out of my own archives via an early 1980's tape trade, of the thousands of tapes I traded for it was numbered 28 & 29 so it was one of my earliest trades. The taper did a fantastic job capturing almost every note, up close with nice instrument separation, it comes highly recommended even for the casual fan. mjk5510
