This is a remaster I did of Bruce's CBS audition in honor of it being almost 45 years since then. The sources I used was the silver cd
"Unsurpassed Springsteen Vol. 3" (the main source in fact) and a cassette tape from my own personal collection. This version here is the 
full complete performance, including the other takes of "Mary, Queen Of Arkansas" and "Jazz Musician." What I did to make everything sound
better is I just cleaned the tracks up, with some normalization and light eq-ing. I also took out some dead air at the beginnings and ends
of the tracks found on the CD source. There was also some tape hiss present on the CD source so I got rid of that too by cutting off the 
frequency at a high number. Lastly, I adjusted the channels and stereo a bit because the CD source has the left channel dominating over
the right. The results are probably the best available version of the whole session available. I also made some nice artwork to go along
with it that is included here. This version features all of the John Hammond introductions prior to each song along with the click of the
reel to reel recorder starting and stopping in the mixing room. Unlike some versions of the session, this one is in the correct song order.
The first take of "Mary, Queen Of Arkansas" is a short take that is only part of the song and features some higher notes from Bruce than 
the next take, which was the one used for Tracks. Both takes of "Jazz Musician" are complete takes. I have never heard the piano notes of 
"Street Queen" so clearly - along with the fantastic versions of "It's Hard To Be A Saint In The City" and "If I Was The Priest" (the song 
Bruce said he would never perform live), this is a treat for me to listen. Of course some tracks sound better than others but overall this 
whole remaster sounds great. I hope you enjoy my remaster.
