   Headliners and closing act of the 2-day Måkeskrik festival i Kristiansand, they played on
   a medium-size stage in a cozy little bay on the coast. Bendiksbukta is shaped like a wide,
   natural amphitheatre and makes for a great festival area.

   As this was the last gig of the festival and MP hit the stage just after 2300 hrs, the
   crowd was a bit on the unruly side, with quite a few of high and wasted people dancing and
   screaming during the loud bits and chatting through the silent bits. One guy just next to
   me had to be escorted away by no less than six security guys. Ignoring the obnoxious few
   however, the great majority had a good time and the guys on stage were in a really good
   mood.

   The setlist features typical live staples, Nerve Tattoo, Starmelt and Greener being the
   highlights for most casual fans, while the jammier tracks appealed to other parts of the
   audience. Personally I always love seeing Starhammer in a set list - just love that main
   riff! - here they stuck surprisingly close to the album version. Other highlights are
   yours to discover!

   The sound was not the best, VERY bass heavy through most of the show. Guitars and vocals
   were all but buried in a landslide of rumble and thunder. Things got a bit better a few
   songs in, but it was hard to hear what was going on even with earplugs in. Surprisingly,
   the recording turned out all right.

   No encores due to a strict curfew at half past midnight.
